I have been a resident of Easthampton for 30 years. My children have gone through Easthampton High School and their children are now students at Maple Elementary School.
It is one of the oldest schools in the commonwealth and it can no longer meet children’s needs. Because the building is over 100 years old, technology is not up to date and there are safety and accessibility problems.
I believe it is critical for citizens of Easthampton to vote “yes” on May 22 so we can help secure the future of Easthampton for all its residents.
