After the events that transpired at JFK Middle School on Thursday, I couldn’t help but recall the protests, not only by residents but some city councilors as well, when our Police Department requested some new equipment.
Everyone would like to think it can’t happen here, but if it does, I for one, want the men and women of our police force to be prepared, and that’s why they need the equipment they ask for.
