According to The New York Times, North Korea has promised to abandon its nuclear program over half a dozen times since 1990 and has broken that promise every time.
That’s not to say the summit in Singapore didn’t accomplish anything. It distracted the press and the public from the criminal conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians, and elevated North Korea to the status of a world power.
