NORTHAMPTON — A Ware tow truck driver charged in May with allegedly raping four women was indicted by a Hampshire Superior Court grand jury last week on another rape charge.
Arthur E. Salsbury Jr., 41, is charged with raping a woman on March 29 in Granby, according to the indictment. It is believed that the charge involves a new alleged victim.
In May, Salsbury pleading not guilty in Hampshire Superior Court to four counts of aggravated rape, two counts of rape, two counts of assault by means of a dangerous weapon, kidnapping, unarmed robbery and assault and battery. The charges stem from four incidents involving four different women, all believed to be sex workers.
Salsbury was held without right to bail on those charges. He is being represented by attorney David Mintz.
