GREENFIELD — A Vermont man died following a motorcycle crash Sunday evening at Deerfield and Cheapside streets.
The driver lost control of his vehicle at the intersection around 8 p.m., leading to the crash, according to the Northwestern district attorney’s office. The Jacksonville, Vermont, resident was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger was transported by LifeFlight to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by Greenfield Police, the Massachusetts State Police assigned to the district attorney’s office and the state police’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
