State police said a 53-year-old Leverett man died in a motorcycle crash in West Springfield, Saturday.
At about 5:40 p.m., police responded to a crash on the I-90 eastbound exit 4 ramp in West Springfield. Police said the motorcyclist lost control and crashed off the left side of the roadway, striking a sign pole. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending family notification.
