Suggests putting solar panels in parking lots

Solar power is a necessary part of a healthy future. However, the idea of cutting down woodlands, which are an important part of the beauty of our state, and which gobble up carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, is very distressing.

Massachusetts is full of parking lots. How reassuring for customers to have their cars protected from the hot sun and heavy snow by panels of renewable energy.

Plus, the nuisance of disturbing the storesโ€™ parking lots for a period of time would be more than compensated for by the elimination or diminution of electricity costs in the adjacent stores. And the reduced electric bills of customers would allow buyers to spend more money in the stores. That is good all around.
