Five players scored for the Athol boys soccer team in a 5-1 over Narragansett, Saturday.

The Red Raiders (3-1, 1-1 Schmid) got goals from Noah Aukstikalnis, Bryce King, Dilan Fountain, Maysin Tarbell and Angel Rivera.

Athol led 4-1 at halftime and outshot the Warriors 24-5. Connor Mahony had an assist, along with Auksikalnis, Fountain and Tarbell.

Casey Mason and Vinny Gordon spilt the game in net, making a combined four saves.

Girls soccer

Athol 5, Narragansett 2 โ€” Taylor Cleveland, Grace Dufour, Emma Bacigalupo, Angelica Baptista and Kendall Deleo each scored as the Red Raiders improved to 3-2 overall with the win at home Saturday.

Rozlyn Nelson, Shelby Mailloux, Angelica Baptista and Crystal McCulley each had one assist and Haley Wrigley made six saves in net.

Field hockey

Turners Falls 5, Athol 0 โ€” Ryley Pond made 12 saves but the Red Raiders (1-3, 1-1 Tri County) couldnโ€™t get the offense going in a home loss.

Girls volleyball

Ware 3, Athol 1 โ€” Despite storming out to a 25-18 victory in the opening set, the Red Raiders were unable to keep pace on Saturday.

Alexis Carrasquillo led Athol (0-4) with six kills and a pair of aces. Abby Roberts added four kills, while Lexi Forte registered 11 assists in the loss.
