SOUTH HADLEY — A 13-year-old South Hadley girl who was last seen on Tuesday was still missing as of Friday night.

According to South Hadley Police, Catherine English was last spotted Tuesday at 5:50 p.m. on Main Street wearing a pink shirt, shorts and a black/gray backpack.

She was initially reported as last seen at an earlier time on Tuesday before more recently being spotted on security camera footage.

A post on the South Hadley Police Department Facebook page describes English as 5 foot, 6 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 160 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair dyed red/pink.

The department is working with as many entities as it can to find English, including the Northwestern district attorney’s office, the Department of Children and Families, the FBI and The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, according to South Hadley Police Chief Steve Parentela.

Police have “put the word out as far as we can” to locate English, he said.

Parentela added that the department does not have any updates on where English might be or why she is missing.

South Hadley Police are asking anyone with information on English’s whereabouts to call the department at 413-538-8231.
