The Northampton boys soccer team snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 3-0 win over East Longmeadow, Friday in Northampton.
The Blue Devils (3-9-1, 1-4-0 Churchill) picked up their first league win as well.
Noah Aronstein, Chris Raphael-Riley and Ben Gomes-Rapoza each scored. Andre Marquis, Edwin Zaruma Burin and Sam Curran each had one assist.
Jarret Borer made 18 saves, while defender Logan Tumal and midfielder Lars Sippel played well.
Easthampton 4, Renaissance 0 โ Backup goalie Joe Brough scored two goals, while Mohamed Zabir and Adam Johndrow each scored once as the Eagles (12-0-0) stayed perfect on the road.
Chris Williams, Anthony Soucy and Lucas Wojtowicz had one assist apiece. Drew Caires made two saves in the shutout.
Hopkins Academy 2, Granby 0 โ Andy Czajkowski scored five minutes into the game, then Gage Spanknebel added a second 10 minutes later as the Golden Hawks (6-5-1) earned the shutout in Hadley.
