Anna Ballou assisted the first two goals as the Smith College field hockey team beat Keene State, 4-1, Wednesday in Northampton.

Ballou, of Deerfield, helped Neva Richaredson put the Pioneers on the board first. Maura McGowan made it 2-0.

Keene pulled within 2-1, but Abby Morton and Raegan Stokes put the game away for Smith (11-7).

Sammie Pavlov had one assist and Channy Cornell made seven saves.

Trinity 2, Amherst 0 — Katie Savage made 11 saves, but the Mammoths (10-5, 5-5 NESCAC) fell at home to the 17th-ranked Bantams (11-4, 6-4).

Women’s soccer

Stonehill 2, Bentley 1 — Kayla Henry (Belchertown) scored her sixth goal of the season as the visiting Skyhawks (13-4-0, 10-4-0 NE10) won their seventh straight.

It was Henry’s second game-winning goal of the season, and third of her career.
