FLORENCE — Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Friday evening at Sam’s Food Store on Pine Street.
Two men entered the store at about 6 p.m. and brandished a gun before stealing an undisclosed amount of money and driving away in a Chevy Equinox, according to a Northampton Police Department press release.
Nobody was injured during the robbery, police said.
Police said the robbery is under investigation and declined to provide descriptions of the two suspects.
Sam’s could not be reached for comment.
