NORTHAMPTON — Police are investigating multiple cases of breaking and entering that occurred in downtown businesses.
In a statement Saturday, Police Chief Jody D. Kasper alerted the public of the breaking and entering reports on Main Street and said the Crime Scene Services Unit was investigating.
Kasper said there will be an increased presence of police downtown on Saturday as they investigate the area.
Police declined to comment on which businesses were broken into and what was stolen.
