Cottage Street congestion

I totally agree with Marilyn Cahill’s opinion on the pot shop on Cottage Street. Since I have moved to Easthampton 11 years ago, the city has wanted to attract businesses to the area, particularly to Cottage Street. How can business owners attract customers when we have such limited parking in that area?

In addition, handicapped parking is almost nonexistent. There are some lovely businesses on Cottage Street that are not being patronized because of lack of parking. Now the congestion and lack of available parking spaces will even be more limited? There are other available places to set up a pot shop in Easthampton. Also, why isn’t the city providing more parking?
