Recently as I read the paper, I stopped to read the editorial about the wall. My response was tears and respect for a job well done. Congratulations to whoever wrote this fine piece. Currently I am reading Annie Dillard’s book “For the Time Being,” which tells about the horrors of building the Great Wall of China, so I have been thinking of walls. What a great metaphor for our times when there is so much division in our country being created by Trump. Thanks for a great editorial.
