Bre Hampton-Bey finished with 17 points off the bench, but it wasn’t enough as the UMass women’s basketball team fell, 75-47, at Dayton, Wednesday.
Hampton-Bey shot 5 of 11 from the floor and 6 of 10 from the free-throw line. However, the Minutewomen (9-7, 1-1 Atlantic 10) shot 29 percent from the floor in the road loss.
Clark 86, Springfield 79 — Jake Ross (Northampton) had a game-high 28 points to go with seven rebounds, three steals and three assists, but the Pride (4-10, 1-2 NEWMAC) fell on the road.
