The Belchertown boys hockey team couldn’t hold an early lead, but it still pulled out a point with a 1-1 tie against Agawam, Friday at the Mullins Center Practice Rink in Amherst.

Andrew Fijal scored from Cody Lambert in the first period for the Division 3A Orioles (6-1-2).

Nick Buonagurio scored from Nate Manser in the third period for the Division 3 Brownies (1-6-1), who play in the Berry League.

Ethan Rajpold stopped 14 shots for Belchertown.

Nick Brady had 29 saves for Agawam.

Winchendon 2, Williston 1 — All three goals were tallied in the third period, but the Wildcats fell at Lossone Rink in Easthampton.

Girls hockey

Williston 5, St. Mark’s 0 — Christina Vote scored twice, while Kate Holmes, Bryn Saarela and Caroline DiFiore each added one as the Wildcats won on the road.

Natalie Stott earned the shutout in goal.
