The Northampton boys indoor track and field team split its meets Friday, but its 48-46 win over Holyoke was the 100th of coach Brandon Palmer’s career. The Blue Devils also lost 61-34 against West Springfield in the early boys meets at Smith College.

Cole Lavalle won the boys 300-meter dash in 36.99 seconds.

The Blue Devils went 1-2-3 in the 600: Benjamin Gordon Sniffen placed first (1:24.37) followed by Ethan Cooper (1:24.38) and Eben Saveson (1:27.44).

Benjamin Howe placed first in the 1,000 (2:43.8) followed by Simon LaClair in second (2:44.02).

Northampton’s 4×400 relay was first by nearly 20 seconds at 3:37.1.

On the girls side, the Blue Devils went 2-0, beating Holyoke 78-17 and West Springfield 69-26.

Northampton’s Nava Chevan won the girls 600 in 1:50.85 followed closely by teammate Mary Yount (1:51.68).

The Blue Devils also went 1-2 in the girls 1,000. Rosie Ingmann was first (3:18.24), while Maggie Reade took second (3:22.05).

They claimed the top three spots in the mile: Peyton Pettiford Rowan won (5:40.99) followed by Aida Bennett (5:52.26) and Saraphina Forman (5:59.46).

Yount claimed the top spot in the girls two-mile at 11:54.85 followed by teammate Naomi Andrew in second (12:39.49).

Northampton’s girls 4×4 bested the field at 4:28.79.

Emma Harder cleared 16-03 to win the girls long jump.

In the late girls meet, Amherst beat Westfield 46-40, while South Hadley topped Hampshire Regional 72-22 and Hampden Charter 77-14.

The Raiders also lost 49-45 against Ludlow.

Amherst’s Sophia Jacobs-Towsley placed first in the girls 1,000 in 3:11.22 with her teammate Julia Hopley in second (3:20.41). Jacobs-Townsley also placed first in the two-mile (11:31.58).

Hailey Werenski of South Hadley won the girl smile (6:00.37). Lindsay Marjanski cleared 5-2 to win the girls high jump for the Tigers. Savannah Sudyka tossed the shot put 35-2.75 to finish first.

Hampshire’s Hannah Wodecki was third in the high jump (4-10), while Hannah Labrie placed third in the long jump (15-03).

On the boys side, Amherst won 61-33 against Westfield.

South Hadley beat Hampden Charter 83-0 and Hampshire 66-25.

Hampshire additionally beat Ludlow 46-44.

Amherst’s Junior Pontes da veiga won the boys 55 in 6.7 seconds. Aiden Shea finished first in the boys 1,000 (2:49.21).

Amherst’s 4×4 won in 3:42.11.

South Hadley’s Matt O’Brien finished first in the boys two-mile (10:33.87), and Jacob Poirier took second for the Tigers (10:35.62).

Jacob Labrie placed fourth for Hampshire (10:44.68).

Nick Eline was fourth in the high jump for the Raiders (5-02).
