I understand they want to put a second pot shop on Cottage Street in Easthampton. What are they thinking about? Whose idea was this? Both Cottage Street and Union Street are narrow streets with very little parking. It’s bad enough we have enough aggressive drivers running red lights and cutting you off, without adding more fuel to the fire.

Easthampton should have built a parking garage on the present parking area on Cottage Street. Also, a parking garage in the Rite Aid parking lot on Union Street would help. Where does all our tax money go? Maybe we need more public meetings to discuss our concerns.

I know the state gets money from the sale of pot. Where does that money go? Certainly not on local roads. The main streets in Easthampton are deplorable, the worst anywhere.

The governor should take a ride through our main streets and see for himself the narrow roads and bumpy streets. These are the main streets. You should also see some of the side streets.

Where does the money set aside for road repair go? Easthampton taxes are increasing by the minute, especially the water and sewer amounts. The wells should have been fixed years ago. Where did that money go?

The Cottage Street pot store is the worst decision someone made. What is happening to our little town?
