Annika Brooks tallied 23 points, 18 rebounds, five assists and five steals, as the Mount Holyoke women’s basketball team defeated Green Mountain, 60-52, Monday in South Hadley.

The victory ended a 60-game losing streak dating to Nov. 19, 2016, against Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

The Lyons (1-15) set their season-high point total and outrebounded the Eagles 48-38.

South Hadley native Mikayla McEwen started and picked up four points and three rebounds for Mount Holyoke.

Leah Hodges scored 16 points with eight rebounds, while Katlyn Grover added 10 points.

Mount Holyoke trailed 15-12 after the first quarter but outscored Green Mountain 48-37 the rest of the way. The Lyons held the Eagles to 28.1 percent shooting and forced 12 turnovers.
