The president promised to build a wall and that the Mexicans were going to pay for it. I resent him asking us for the money. Why is he not paying federal workers their money for hours they actually worked? I suggest he build the wall when Mexico gives him the money and he not take his salary from the government or his own companies, and live off his savings like the rest of those poor people.
He shut down the government — let him pay the price, not the average Joe and Jolene. Actually, now that I’m thinking about it, since he claims to be a fabulous billionaire, why doesn’t he pay everybody their wages and take an IOU from the government as a good-faith gesture. When he reopens it, he can ask for his money back.
