The fifth-ranked Amherst College women’s basketball team overcame a one-point halftime deficit and defeated Wesleyan, 67-57, in a nonconference Little 3 game, Monday night at Silloway Gymnasium in Middletown, Connecticut.
The Mammoths shot 13-for-31 from 3-point range as they improved to 15-1. The Cardinals dropped to 10-7.
Courtney Resch came off the bench and hit four 3-pointers to finish with a career-high 13 points. Resch added four blocks, two steals, three assists and five rebounds.
Hannah Fox scored a game-high 18 points with 11 rebounds. Madeline Eck added 17 points and Cam Hendricks 10.
