Hampshire Regional junior Michael Baldwin won the 160-pound weight class at the Mountie Invite to pace the Raiders to a fourth-place finish, Saturday in Williamstown.

Hampshire finished with 100 points. Chariho was first (240.5) followed by Taconic (196.5) and Lasalle Institute (107).

Baldwin beat James Dougherty, of Chariho, 9-7 in the finals. He pinned Mount Greylockโ€™s AJ Durocher in the quarterfinals in 1:38 and beat Ray Hutton, of Lasalle, 11-1 in the semifinals.

Mason Willard was second at 170. Willard fell to Ben Dougherty, of Chariho, in 24 seconds in the finals. Willard pinned Eli Pietrzykowski, of South Hadley, in 3:26 in the quarterfinals. He beat Liam Feeley, of Greylock, 5-1 in the semifinals.

Kobe Clifford (182) and Angus Kanelong (285) each placed third. Alex Willard (106) and Nathaniel Picard (113) were fourth for the Raiders.

Granby placed fifth with 80 points. Jake Olivieri (98) and Emmett Seibert (106) each placed second. Joseph Deprey was third (113) and Christian Perez fourth (132).

Olivieri pinned Alex Martinez, of Northampton, in 1:27, and beat Alex Hall, of Taconic, 16-7, to reach the finals. There, he fell to Nick Lupiani, of Mount Everett, in 1:36.

Seibert went 1-1 after a bye. He pinned Alex Willard in 1:04 to reach the finals, where he fell to Wade Husing, of Chariho, 9-0.

Northampton was eighth (64) as Maddox McPherson (120) and Noah Brink (138) each placed second. Xavier Chartier (220) was third.

McPherson was 2-1 after a bye. He pinned Riley Thayer (Chariho) in 1:02 and Avery Luther (Lasalle) in 1:38 to reach the finals, where he fell to Zach Lupiani (Mount Everett) in 1:15.

Brink also went 2-1. He recorded pins over Bailey Gilmore (Monument) in 45 seconds and Abram Speek (Granby) in 4:26. He lost to Kyle Marritt (Chariho) in 1:48 in the finals.

South Hadley was 10th (44) out of 13 teams. Cayden Henriques (106) and Joe Podolak (132) both finished third.

Homer Barr Memorial โ€” Behind a trio of victories by Ovidiu Nichita, Ito McMillan, Jake Mattson and Nate Austin, Frontier Regional went 3-1 and took second place, Saturday at Chicopee Comp.

Frontier defeated Comp, Agawam and West Springfield with its loss coming to Westfield.

Nichita won two matches via pinfall and one thanks to a 12-9 decision at 113 pounds for the Red Hawks. Austin earned a trio of pins, two at 195 pounds and one at 220 pounds, while Mattson won his three at 138 pounds. McMillan snagged three pins at 145 pounds for Frontier.

KC Mattson won two matches at 170 pounds and Tanner Finch scored a pin at 132 pounds.
