Kate Holmes scored the game-winning goal in overtime and added an assist, as the Williston Northampton girls hockey team beat Taft, 3-2, on the road Wednesday.

Bryn Saarela and Maura Holden also found the net. Natalie Stott picked up the win in goal.

The Wildcats have won 10 games in a row.

Boys hockey

Loomis Chaffee 5, Williston 1 โ€” Hunter Sarro put the Wildcats ahead on the power play 3 minutes, 23 seconds into the game, but Williston allowed five unanswered goals in a home loss.

Cam Mariani and Tim Rago assisted Sarro. Kyler Breland made 24 saves for Williston, which lost a four-game winning streak.

Boys basketball

Pomfret 61, Williston 58 โ€” Tyler Thomas scored 29 points in a tight road loss, while John Kelly added 14 for the Wildcats.

Boys swimming

Williston 94, Kingswood-Oxford 78 โ€” The Wildcats won their third consecutive meet behind Benning Johnson and Jack Coscia.

Girls swimming

Williston 92, Worcester Academy 80 โ€” Molly Kinstle, Ava Larkin and Sally Alrutz each won two events, as the Wildcats remained undefeated.

Girls squash

Deerfield 6, Williston 1 โ€” Easthamptonโ€™s Dylan Fulcher Melendy picked up the Wildcatsโ€™ point at the third position, winning 11-6, 11-4, 8-11, 11-7.

Skiing

Mount Institute Ski League โ€” Willistonโ€™s Gavin Kline placed seventh in the boys giant slalom with a combined time of 80 seconds. His first run took 39.87, and he clocked his second at 40.13.

Northfieldโ€™s Isaac Foster was first in 75.48.

Willistonโ€™s Lily Shields finished 15th in the girls giant slalom at 94.48. Her first run was 46.5 and her second 47.98.

Deerfield Academyโ€™s Kikka Giudici won in 80.60.

The Wildcats were fourth in the boys meet with 213 points. Deerfield won with 304.

Williston was fourth in the girls with 103 points, while Northfield Mount Hermon was first at 194.
