The Williston Northampton boys squash team extended its win streak to six with a 5-2 win over Westminster, Wednesday in Easthampton.
Tyler Senecal (Granby), Vishnu Sekar, Connor Touhey (Florence), Luke Po (Florence) and Finlay MacDonald each won their match for the Wildcats, who beat Westminster for the first time over seven years.
Choate 65, Williston 53 โ Tyler Thomas had 18 points, while Nik Kovasevic and John Kelly had nine apiece for the Wildcats.
Loomis Chaffee 69, Williston 31 โ Cristina Negron (Easthampton) had 10 points, while Emma Gentile and Gates MacPherson each had six points for the Wildcats.
Northfield Mount Hermon 3, Williston 2 โ Tim Rego and Jake Sacratini each scored, but the Wildcats lost in Northfield.
Williston 1, Choate 0 โ Bryn Saarela scored the game-winner and Natalie Stott earned the shutout as the Wildcats won at Lossone Rink.
Westminster JV, Williston 2 โ Louisa Weed and Dylan Fulcher-Melendy (Easthampton) won their matches, but the Wildcats fell on the road.
Gavin Kline, of Williston, placed ninth overall on boys giant slalom with a combined time of 81.69 seconds (40.74, 40.95) at Berkshire East, Wednesday in the fifth race of the Mount Institute League.
Williston finished fourth with 202 points. Deerfield was first with 307.
Willistonโs Lily Shields was 12th (92.84) in the girls giant slalom. The Wildcats were fifth (75). Northfield Mount Hermon was first (203).
