Nick Foster, Chris Foster, Brandon Peritz and Eli Slovin had one goal apiece for the Hurricanes (15-3-0, 8-1-0 Fay).
Kouji Ishida had two assists and Nick Paul one. John Hanscom made 20 saves for Amherst.
Drury 2, Easthampton 2 โ Tyler Galpin and Christopher Tenczar each scored for the Eagles (10-7-2, 5-2-2 Wright), who earned a point at Lossone Rink, Sunday. Drury (7-6-6, 3-3-4) qualified for the postseason.
South Hadley 3, Ludlow 1 โ Sean Doherty, Matt Brunelle and Mike Mazza (assist) each scored once as the Tigers (11-5-2, 4-3-1 Fay) won at Fitzpatrick Ice Arena, Saturday.
Ben Watkins had two assists and Joe Cigal added one. Anthony Cigal made 24 saves.
Greenfield 7, Southwick 1 โ Bryan Baumann (three assists) and Doug Hanieski (two assist) scored two goals apiece as the Green Wave (15-2-2, 7-1-2 Wright) cruised at Collins-Moylan Arena, Saturday.
Cameron Rice and Matt Wilhite each had one goal. Mike McGoldrick added two assists, while Aiden Roache and Aurel Pydych had one each. Riley Drew made 18 saves in the win.
Oakmont 4, Belchertown 2 โ The Orioles (11-3-2) fell at Cushing Academy in Ashburnham on Saturday.
Amherst Regional 62, Baystate Academy 14 โ The Hurricanes led 28-0 after the first quarter en route to the win Saturday that kept their playoff hopes alive.
Amherst (9-10) needs to win at Frontier Regional on Wednesday to qualify for the playoffs. It could still finish in second place in the Central League, but either Granby or Monson will need to lose their last league game for that scenario to play out.
Delaney MacPhetres had nine of her 19 points in the first quarter, while Erin Klaes scored six of her 14. Esme Siegel added 12 points in the win.
Granby 57, Renaissance 48 โ Freshman Brandon Wishart dropped five 3-pointers and 17 points, while Kyle Murdock added three 3s and 15 points as the Rams (13-6, 4-4 Bi-County West) won on the road, Saturday.
Freshman Nate Breault added three 3s and 11 points in the win.
Nordic skiing
Nor Young, of Amherst, placed 17th overall in 15 minutes, 49 seconds as the Hurricanes boys team finished fifth with 111 points at the Berkshire League meet, Saturday.
Jana Murphy, of Amherst, was 39th overall in 23:41 as the Hurricanes girls team finished eighth with 166 points.
