NORTHAMPTON – A Ware man pleaded not guilty to four counts of child rape in Hampshire Superior Court Tuesday afternoon.

Randall Scott Sinclair, 52, was arraigned on two counts of rape of a child with force and two counts of rape of a child.

Sinclair was represented by attorney Alan Rubin. Assistant District Attorney Caleb Weiner represented the commonwealth.

Sinclair, who is on probation, was released on personal recognizance with the additional condition that he stay away from the alleged victim, a male who is known to him.

The Gazette does not typically identify victims in sexual assault or rape cases.

Sinclair’s next court appearance will be on May 20 for a pretrial hearing.
