NORTHAMPTON — Snowfall blanketed Hampshire County overnight, with some communities seeing as much as half a foot of snow when they woke up Monday morning.
Western Massachusetts was spared some of the heavier snowfall seen in the eastern part of the state, where some cities and towns saw more than a foot of snow.

■Williamsburg, 6.5 inches at 6:45 a.m.
■Huntington, 6 inches at 5:54 a.m. on Monday
■Easthampton, 5.5 inches at 7:00 a.m. on Monday
■Northampton, 4.5 inches at 7:02 a.m. on Monday
■South Amherst, 3.7 inches at 6:37 a.m. on Monday
■South Hadley, 3.2 inches at 3 a.m. on Monday
■Westhampton, 6 inches at 8:00 a.m. on Monday
■Amherst, 5.4 inches at 7:15 a.m. on Monday
■North Amherst, 5.5 inches at 8:32 a.m. on Monday
■Cummington, 4.5 inches at 7:28 a.m. on Monday
■Plainfield, 1.2 inches at 10:25 p.m. on Sunday
Despite the heavy snow, there appear to have been no power outages in the county, according to outage maps from National Grid and Eversource.
