After all the fury over $5.7 billion for the wall, how about this? Now we know funds were available to spend — and are not being used for it — let’s shave that down to an even $5 billion and allocate each state $100 million and dedicate it to patching potholes nationwide.

Our roads are destroyed. Take a ride down Burts Pit Road or from the Elks Club to the golf course or Union and Cottage streets in Easthampton, etc. Infrastructure was once on the table. I’m willing to bet every state, red or blue, would agree on that one.
