NORTHAMPTON — Firefighters responded to a garage fire at 12 Maple St. in Florence on Tuesday at around 3 p.m.
Smoke billowed from the garage behind a residence as Northampton firefighters battled and extinguished the blaze. The street was blocked off in both directions by police.
There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is not immediately known, according to the Northampton Fire Department.
