Haley Connaughton (two assists) and Ally Murphy each scored twice for the Minutewomen (10-3, 5-0 Atlantic 10).

Amherst 15, Williams 13 — Claire Dunbar (assist) and Becky Kendall both had hat tricks for the Mammoths on Saturday.
Isabelle Sennett, Rebecca Wistreich, Maia Noyes (two assists) and Hannah Fox (two assists) scored twice each.
Katherine Malone added a goal and an assist for Amherst (7-3, 3-3 NESCAC).
Talia Land stopped six shots.
Western New England 12, Mount Holyoke 8 — Northampton’s Abby Baldwin scored three times in a loss Saturday. Caroline Flynn had two goals and an assist, while Julianna Rankin added a goal and two assists for the Lyons (5-5).
Deyscha Smith found the net twice.
Northampton grad Haley Subocz picked up four ground balls.
Mia Wysocki made 11 saves.
Amherst 7, Williams 0; Amherst 8, Williams 4; Williams 14, Amherst 4 — Despite losing Sunday, the Mammoths bested the rival Ephs in their weekend series.
Chase Henley racked up five hits and five RBIs, hitting a triple on Saturday.
Topher Brown added five hits and three RBIs for Amherst (11-7, 3-3 NESCAC)
South Hadley grad Nehemiah Wilson pitched in relief for Williams during Game 1. He threw two innings, allowing just one hit and two walks with two strikeouts.
UMass 8, La Salle 0 (6); UMass 8, La Salle 4; UMass 8, La Salle 2 — Alyssa Lyon accounted for six hits and nine RBIs in a weekend sweep. Kaitelyn Stavinoha contributed seven hits and six RBIs for the Minutewomen (18-14, 6-1 A-10).
Kiara Oliver allowed just two hits and struck out eight in Game 1, walking three.
Amherst 10, Trinity 2; Amherst 7, Trinity 0 — Audrey Hansen (two hits, triple), Alyson Plaman, Kyra Naftel (two hits) and
Smith at Wellesley (2), noon Katie Kopatic each drove in two runs in a Saturday sweep.
Lorena Ukanawa struck out six in four innings of work in Game 1.
Wellesley 5, Smith 2; Wellesley 10, Smith 1 — Alyssa Pioggia and Tyler Fenney had RBIs for the Pioneers, who lost both games of a Saturday doubleheader. Megan McGrath had two hits in Game 1 for Smith (6-16, 1-9 NEWMAC).
Hofstra 10, UMass9 (OT) — Chris Connoly had a goal and three assists Saturday.
Devin Spencer added a goal and two assists. Isaac Paparo and Gabriel Procyk found the net twice each for the Minutemen (7-4, 1-1 CAA). The loss ended a six-game winning streak for UMass
Hofstra scored the game’s final three goals. Dylan McIntosh scored the winner with 1:28 left in the overtime.
Sean Sconone stopped nine shots.
Williams 13, Amherst 11 — Colin Minicus scored six goals in a road loss Saturday.
Evan Wolf added a goal and two assists for the Mammoths (10-1, 5-1 NESCAC). Jon Coffey passed two assists.
Jimmy McAfee and Jack Norton had a goal and an assist each.
Chad Simons stopped 14 shots.
Minutemen Invitational — UMass won its home invitational with 226.33 points. Dartmouth was second with 124.
The Minutemen’s 4×100-meter relay team of Hayden Gray, Michael Cuthbert, Ricky Arias and Jordan Howard was first in 41.52 seconds.
Mason Lord cleared 4.55 meters on the pole vault to place first.
Coston O’Brien took first in the discus throw at 44.78 meters.
Amherst Spring Fling — Henry Buren won the 100-meter dash in 10.96 seconds. Jacob Silverman took first in the 800 (1:58.12). Owen Daily placed first in the 1,500 (4:01.12). Clark Ricciardelli won the 5,000 (14:50.08). Maxxim Doiron was first in the 110 hurdles (15.47).
The Mammoths’ 4×100 relay of Arinze Uddoh, Ben Wadsworth, Stadtler Thompson and Buren finished first (42.61). Their 4×4 relay of Kyland Smith, Stanley Dunwell, Wadsworth and Andrew Sweson finished took first (3:26).
Jack Dufton cleared 1.85 meters in the high jump. Theo Bates won the long jump at 6.53 meters. Jordan Edwards won the triple jump (13.61 meters).
The Mammoths scored 152 points to win their home meet. Middlebury took second with 100.5.
Minutemen Invitational — The Minutewomen topped their home invitational standings with 183 points, edging Dartmouth, who was second with 144.5.
Bryanna Rivers took first in the 800 (2:12.54).
Colette O’Leary placed first in the 1,500 (4:36.22).
Danielle Notarfrancesco was first in the shot put (14.14m).
Amherst Spring Fling — Christina Scartelli won the 5,000-meter run for Amherst College in 17:13.38.
The Mammoths’ 4×4 relay of Juanita Jaramillo, Anna Madden, Sophia Friedman and Samantha Tichelaar was first (4:02.65).
Hannah Rieders took second in the 1,500 for Mount Holyoke (4:56.06).
Lauren Lamp placed first in the triple jump at 35-8.75.
As a team, the Mammoth were third with 84 points. Wheaton finished first (94). Mount Holyoke placed sixth (29).
Carla Coffey Classic — Emma Lesser won the 110 hurdles (16.83). Karena Garcia was first in the 800 (2:26.5).
Patricia Jewell took first in the 5,000 (19:52.5).
Smith’s 4×400 relay placed first (4:21.22).
Sophia Smith cleared 2.97 meters in the pole vault to earn first place. Casandra Naranjo won the high jump (1.53 meters).
Katy McLellan was first in the javelin (35.57 meters).
Yussif Wasila placed first in the triple jump (10.59 meters).
Bowdoin 5, Amherst 4; Amherst 8, Colby 1 — Maddie Dewire won both her singles matches, as the Mammoths split over the weekend.
Amherst’s top doubles team of Kelsey Chen and Camille Smukler also went 2-0.
Babson 6, Mount Holyoke 3 — Catherine Peabody won at No. 3 singles, Annissa Aamoum preaviled at No. 5 singles and Hannah Middleton won at No. 6 singles for the Lyons on Saturday.
Emerson 8, Smith 1 — Betsy Hillier won Smith’s only match of Saturday’s loss 6-2, 6-2 at No. 6 single.
Amherst 5, Colby 4; Amherst 8, Trinity 1 — Jayson Fung, Harris Foulkes and Damien Ruparel all went 2-0 as the Mammoths swept two weekend matches.
Foulkes also teamed with William Turchetta to sweep their doubles matches.
Mount Holyoke at Zone 1 Championships — The Lyons placed third in the team standing with 35 points. Roger Williams won with 38.
Sara Hearn won the blue ribbon in Collegiate Open Fences.
Libby Sams took first in Novice Flat, while Sarah Etzel won the blue ribbon in Collegiate Novice Flat.
Honami Tanaki placed first in individual class Walk Trot.
Tanaka, Etzel, Sams, Harn, Emma Recchi and Tara Mathews qualified for Nationals on May 204 in Syracuse, New York.
Smith’s Varsity 8 placed second at WPI in 7:09.2 on Saturday.
On Sunday, Mount Holyoke’s Varsity 8 was third in 7:14.4.
