Jerry Landman struck out five and threw a no-hitter as the Williston Northampton baseball team beat Pomfret, 6-0, on the road Saturday.

Nick Heafey was 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs. Matt Pimental had a single and an RBI. Dallas Elliott and Kyle Grabowski played well defensively.

Girls water polo

Williston 14, Staples 6; Williston 15, Suffield 5 — Abbie Coscia finished with eight goals in the Saturday doubleheader, including her 300th career goal as the Wildcats swept at Suffield.

Ella Mattocks added four goals in each win. Sabrina Serricchio had three steals in Game 1 and three goals in Game 2.

Sian Lewandowski had five steals against Suffield and Dylan Fulcher Melendy made 13 saves.

Softball

Williston 11, Deerfield 3 — Natalie Stott went 3-for-3 with three RBIs, while Sydni Landman had three RBIs on a triple and single for the host Wildcats, Saturday.

Selena Negron (double, triple) had five putouts from third while Jersey Strum recorded six strikeouts.

Boys lacrosse

Williston 7, Pomfret 6 — The Wildcats rallied from a 5-2 fourth-quarter deficit for the road win, Saturday.

James Bellavoine and Joey Ford (two assists) each scored three goals, while Ryan Fitzpatrick had six caused turnovers and seven ground balls.

Boys tennis

Williston 6, Westminster 1 — Amherst’s Kenny Wang (No. 1 singles), Ethan Dursht (No. 3), Joey Robbins (No. 4), Florence’s Luke Po (No. 5) and Franny Caraldo (No. 6) added on to the doubles point as the Wildcats (6-1) cruised Saturday.

Boys golf

Kingswood-Oxford 208, Williston 210, Berkshire 220, Wilbraham & Monson 229 — Tyler Senecal fired a 37 and Owen Randolph added a 39 for the Wildcats (7-4), Saturday.

Girls golf

Hotchkiss 4, Williston 1 — Mariel Sutinen led the visiting Wildcats (5-3) with a 42, while Annika Johnson (Northampton) won her match 4&3, Saturday.
