The Williston Northampton girls lacrosse team led by nine goals at halftime as it cruised past Northfield Mount Hermon, 16-9, Wednesday in Easthampton.
Christina Vote had 17 saves and Campbell Nyarady added seven goals to power Williston.
Shayla Heekin and Rachel Burke (assist) scored twice each. Kate Holmes, Emma Gentile and Teaghan Hall had one goal apiece. Maura Holden added two assists, while Kate Holmes and Claudia Capone each had one.
Suffield 13, Suffield 7 — Nick Heafey (two runs) had two doubles, while Kyle Grabowski (single, RBI) added one for the Wildcats.
Ray Toth and Cal Messina each had an RBI.
Williston 13, Northfield Mount Hermon 0 — Jersey Strum struck out seven of the 18 hitters she faced as the Wildcats won on the road.
Strum added a home run, double, single and four RBIs. Selena Negron was 2-for-3 with a double.
Williston 14, Suffield 7 — Freshman Joe Easton scored his first career goal, while Thomas Thibault added three ground balls for the Wildcats.
Pomfret 5, Williston 2 — Praghya Athavan Raja and Hana Tsukamoto won at first and second singles, respectively, but the Wildcats fell on the road.
Williston 13, Hopkins 6 — Abbie Coscia had seven goals and eight steals for the visiting Wildcats.
Sabrina Serricchio and Ella Mattocks scored a pair of goals each. Dylan Fulcher Melendy made 12 saves.
Suffield 194, Williston 199 — Tyler Senecal was co-match medalist with a 37, while Owen Randolph (39) and Jake Sacratini (40) played well for the visiting Wildcats (7-5).
Williston 4, Westminster 1; Choate 3, Williston 2; Loomis Chaffee 5, Williston 0 — Mariel Sutinen shot a 41 at Tumble Brook Golf Club as the Wildcats went 1-2 at Loomis’ home course in Connecticut.
