South Hadley support for single-payer
In your reporting on South Hadley’s recent Town Meeting, you failed to mention that a resolution supporting legislation on single-payer health care for the state of Massachusetts passed by a vote of 66 to 31. Holyoke City Council passed a similar resolution the day prior. Clearly Western Mass. citizens are aware that single-payer health care is the best path forward for providing comprehensive, universal health care at a greatly reduced cost. Let’s hope the legislators are listening.
