Jay Fleitman’s Tuesday column sets out to dispute the benefits of Medicare for All, which might have some value for your readers were it not for the author’s gratuitous and racist mischaracterizations of both Sens. Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren. These comments should not have made it into print.
Fleitman says he can’t keep their backgrounds straight: perhaps he might take a moment to stop fulminating and instead listen to these intelligent and competent women, each with years of experience working in government.
