What Jack Connors (“Richie Neal is a ‘game-changer’ for Massachusetts,” June 25) fails to tell us in his misleading and defensive piece is that Richard Neal raised and spent $3.3 million to overwhelm an underfunded primary challenge in 2018.
That’s more than any other Democrat in Massachusetts raised or spent. His fundraising scares away opponents, keeps local politicians in line, and allows Neal to win re-election without bothering to hold town halls here or reflect local opinions.
Time for a change.
