ORANGE — Chris Shover of Orange is getting a $2.6 million payout from a winning lottery ticket.

Shover chose to take a one-time payout of $2.6 million, before taxes, from the ticket’s total prize of $4 million. He said he will use the money to help his family.

The winning ticket came from Stop n Save, the store at the Citgo gas station on South Main Street. The store will get a $40,000 bonus from the Massachusetts State Lottery.

In its press release, the lottery said that there are three more $4 million prizes, and 12 $1 million prizes yet to be won in the “100X Payout” game, which is a $10 scratch ticket.
