For many years I have read Dr. Jay Fleitman’s columns with the same interest that occasionally drives me to turn on Fox News. I simply want to see what the die-hard opposition to my liberal views is saying, and to wonder if it is really possible that they continue to believe and spout the same incredibly wrong opinions? Sadly, they do.
That said, I wholeheartedly support the Gazette’s granting of a platform to Dr. Fleitman to express what he, and the Gazette editorial board, surely know to be opinions which are not going to be well received by most of the citizens in our happy valley.
Let’s celebrate and welcome this diversity of thought, just as we celebrate and welcome every other kind of diversity in our wonderful community.
