In regards to Thursday’s Associated Press story, “Mueller Terse in House Testimony,” is there a reason to describe Robert Mueller’s tone of voice (“terse”) rather than his message (Trump was not exonerated) in your lead headline?

If Mueller’s tone is worth headlining, here are some suggestions for describing Trump’s tirades: bombastic, sarcastic, whining, insulting, defensive, polarizing, dishonest, grandiloquent and muddled. Take your pick.
