The unforgotten group in the prospective misusers of firearms in this country are the tens of millions of bad people or potentially bad people who have committed felonies and have never been caught, and those who are always capable and or consider or have considered doing bad things with guns. These millions of people are not felons and can purchase weapons legally for themselves or for bad-guy friends.
While concocting methods and schemes to prevent people with mental challenges or actual felons from obtaining guns, the aforementioned group must be considered.
