Suzanne Farrington: Endorses Andrew Smith for Ward 1 council

I am writing to endorse Andrew B. Smith, a candidate for Ward 1 City Council in Northampton.

Andrew has the lived experience, the education and the ideals to make a fine representative on the council. His background in regional planning and sustainability gives him the perspective we need at this juncture in Northampton’s evolution, while his personal history allows him to bridge the gap between himself and the “other.”

A progressive who is looking to raise his children and continue the progressive tradition in the city, I am confident he will be an asset to his fellow councilors and responsive to constituents. Please vote for Andrew B. Smith on Nov. 5 for Ward 1 City Councilor.
