The Tigers (3-0) have scored at least 31 points in their first three games. The team was without senior running back Hunter Carey (injured) last week against Chicopee, but still defeated the Pacers, 31-14. Kyle Johnson played a big role out of the backfield, scoring two touchdowns and rushing for 135 yards. Pittsfield (1-2) is allowing 39 points on average. The Generals are coming off their first win of the season, a 42-34 victory against Lee.

The Hurricanes (3-0) have been dominant on both sides of the ball through three games. They are coming off a 51-0 victory over Ludlow last week and a gutsy 12-9 victory over East Longmeadow on the road the week before. Running back Dan Block has been a source of production for the team on offense. He scored both of the teamโs touchdowns in Amherstโs victory over East Longmeadow. Taconic (1-2) is coming off its first victory of the season, a 39-16 victory against Commerce.

Northampton (2-1) is a couple of plays away from being undefeated coming into this week. The Blue Devils lost to Agawam, 29-27, last week, but have wins over Holyoke and Pittsfield. Brett Holden has been a steady presence in the teamโs running game and Tom Jacques has emerged as a dynamic passer from under center. East Longmeadow is 1-2 with a close loss to Amherst and a lopsided, 42-14, defeat to Westfield.

Easthampton running backs Jacob Neumann (eight carries, 20 yards) and Marcus OโMeally (eight carries, 85 yards) were kept at bay in the teamโs 24-22 loss to Frontier last week. Easthampton (1-2) will look to get them going against Franklin Tech (1-2), which is coming off a 34-0 win against Monument Mountain last week.

The Purple Knights (2-2) are coming off a 56-13 road loss to Minnechaug last week. Holyoke has a lot of talent on offense between quarterback Gabriel Fernandez, running back William Dumoulin, and wide receivers Scott Leary and Jacob Swinehart. Leary had seven catches for 109 yards last week. Longmeadow is 0-3, but all three games have been tightly contested. The Lancers lost in their season opener to Minnechaug, 7-3.

The Orioles (2-1) are coming into this week off a 35-8 victory over Smith Vocational last Saturday. Cal Daskam has been a steady presence for the Orioles out of the backfield. He scored two touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving, last week. Ludlow (1-3) lost three straight, including a 51-0 loss to Amherst last week. The Lions havenโt scored more than seven points since their season-opening victory against Commerce.

The Vikings (0-3) will look to get on track on both sides of the ball when they face the Panthers (0-3). Palmer is coming off a hard-fought 34-28 loss to Ware last week. Chevron Wall has been Smith Vocationalโs most consistent player on offense. The running back scored a 55-yard receiving touchdown in last weekโs loss. The Vikings and the Panthers are both winless.

Wildcats running back Cal Messina rushed 13 times for 109 yards and a touchdown in last weekโs 55-28 loss to the Taft School. Williston (1-1) is averaging 31.5 points on offense. Avon Old Farms (2-0) hasnโt allowed an opponent to score more than 15 points through their first two games of the season.
