Owen Zaret is the most community-spirited person I know, and I’m proud to say that his community is my community.

He has set up a dynamic process for his campaign that invites and encourages community interaction and response. Whenever I run into him at events, and I run into him almost everywhere I go, he listens intently to what I have to say.

He seems to take great pleasure in sharing his passion for the city of Easthampton with his constituents. Recently he interviewed several local businesses on social media, introducing new consumers to Easthampton’s business talent. I’m an old consumer, but I learned a lot.

Serving as Ms. Senior Massachusetts this past year, I became more aware of the concerns of Easthampton’s seniors. Owen Zaret shares my concerns. He is an inaugural board member of Easthampton Neighbors, working with them to provide a variety of free services to our senior citizens.

He is an advocate of affordable senior housing. His view of our city includes seniors living rich lives with positive experiences. He understands the importance of negotiating full city support behind senior tax abatement issues.

With Owen Zaret returning to our City Council, we Easthampton seniors can expect an able and passionate advocate for senior rights.
