HADLEY — The Friends of the Hadley Council on Aging will have a preview of coming trips presented by Friendship Tours and the Ship Shop Friday at 1 p.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Parish Hall, 120 Russell St.
The discussion will focus on a motor coach trip to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to the Light and Sound Theatre to see the Biblical story of Esther, and a Mississippi River boat trip from St Louis to St. Paul.
Anyone is welcome to drop in for the preview.
AMHERST — Members of the Amherst Town Council will have an open meeting with University of Massachusetts students at the Old Chapel on Wednesday evening.
Beginning at 7 p.m., councilors will discuss with students priorities around affordable housing, sustainability, social justice, marijuana, student voting and the 2020 Census.
The Student Government Association and Panhellenic and Interfraternity councils are sponsoring the event.
