Reservation Road, Easthampton
While hiking along the Mount Tom ridge, I came across these two common ravens. These birds nest in the rocks and can often be heard and seen up at elevation. This photo was made looking back from a higher point on the ridge with the backdrop of Easthampton down below. The photo is a bit grainy as my phone was all I had with me. Next time you’re on or near Mount Tom watch and listen for these residents.
