We, the people of these United States, refuse to collude with the further delays of justice now created by the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to intervene in the three cases involving President Trump.
By the manner in which the justices have chosen to intervene, the SCOTUS has reinforced Donald Trump’s preferred tool in avoiding justice: endlessly appeal all legal decisions made against him for as long as he can.
The SCOTUS could have decided not to intervene. However, since the court has decided to intervene and review the earlier court decisions, we, the people, demand that the court move swiftly. We know the court can move swiftly when it wants to. It took the court a few weeks to decide Bush v. Gore.
It is time for a national petition to refuse to collude and to demand that the court render a decision in a timely manner. If necessary, it may be time for hundreds of thousands of American citizens to stand up and encircle the Supreme Court building and demand a timely decision.
We will not tolerate the SCOTUS to further obstruct justice by delaying for six more months to rule on Trump’s tax records. President Trump has already obstructed justice regarding his tax records for long enough.
