Artists of Arcadia’s Art House Exhibit

Today, Saturday and Monday, artists from The Arcadia Art House at Mass Audubon Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary, 127 Combs Road, Easthampton, will be exhibiting their work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the sanctuary’s visitors’ center. The Arcadia Art House is a cabin that is open five days a week from April to November 1. Artists Jan Ruby-Crystal, Stacy Dell Isola, Ella Condon, Ellie Adams, Doris Madsen, and Russell Powell provide encouragement, opportunities and two- and three-dimensional art materials for visitors and campers of all ages to engage in their own creative experiences. First Night Jr. returns

First Night Jr. returns to the Holyoke Children’s Museum, 444 Dwight St., Holyoke, for it’s 22nd New Year’s Eve celebration. The festivities will take place Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., allowing young ones to have some New Year’s fun that fits with their schedules. One $8 admission ticket gets visitors into activities at all four attractions around Holyoke Heritage State Park; The Children’s Museum at Holyoke, unlimited rides at The Holyoke Merry-Go-Round, the International Volleyball Hall of Fame, and the Holyoke Heritage State Park Visitor’s Center. Children under age 1 attend at no charge. There will be face painting, entertainers, balloons, reptiles and some favorite costumed characters, including Elsa, Anna, and Baby Shark.
