Mount Holyoke has announced the five inductees of its 2020 Athletics Hall of Fame class.
The induction ceremony will be held on May 22.
Track & field athlete Langhan Dee (2004), rower Mary Mazzio (1983), field hockey player Penny Schneider Calf (1968), swimmer Katie Herrold (2000) and Elizabeth Topham Kennan (1960), a rider and advocate, are members of the class.
Western Mass FC/Bayside will be holding a free soccer clinic for boys and girls ages 6-17 at Allsport Soccer Arena in Northampton on Sunday.
The boys clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. The girls clinic will be held 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The clinic will be run by Division I college coaches, including a goalkeeper coach for specific training.

The Hampshire-Franklin Baseball Umpire Association is looking for individuals who are 18 years of age or older to umpire scholastic level baseball (middle school, high school and prep schools) in the Hampshire and Franklin County towns and cities covered by the association.
New umpire recruit classes will occur for six weeks at Deerfield Elementary School beginning in January. The class dates are scheduled for: Jan. 30, Feb. 6, 13, 20, 27, and March 5. March 12 will be used for a make-up class if needed. Classes will take place between 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Fee is $50.

Registrations are now being accepted for the 45th annual St. Patrick’s Road Race on March 21 in Holyoke.
In addition to the 10K, there will be a 2-mile walk and a free kids fun run.
The fun run will start at 11 a.m. with four divisions for kids ages 2-10. There will be a Mummers Concert at 12:10 p.m. followed by the 10K race at 1 p.m.
The 10K race fee is as follows: $25 (until Jan. 16), $30 (Jan. 17-Feb. 14), $35 (Feb. 15-March 13) and $40 (March 14-21).
The 2-mile walk fee is as follows: $20 (until March 13) and $25 (March 14-21)
