Matt Pimental, Alex Latkovski and Brandon Barrett scored two goals each, as the Williston Northampton boys hockey team beat Vermont Academy, 8-4, at Lossone Rink on Wednesday.

Ryan Deschamps and William Tripp each found the net once.

Sophomore Ryan Hennigan earned the win in his first career start.

Boys basketball

Williston 71, Salisbury 58 — Cooper Creek led the Wildcats to the comeback victory with 17 points. Wok Maiwen added 13 points and Tanner Thomas scored 11.

Williston trailed by nine at halftime before rallying.

Girls basketball

Deerfield 74, Williston 42 — Southampton’s Caroline O’Connor scored 17 points in a road loss. Jordyn Meunier added 20 points.

Girls hockey

Williston 3, Southfield 2 — Brynn Saarela, Jules Constantinople and Katherine Kang found the net in a home win. Natalie Stott backstopped the victory.

Girls squash

Suffield 4, Williston 3 — Easthampton’s Dylan Fulcher-Melendy won decisively at No. 2 (11-2, 11-6, 15-1). Sahnet Ramirez prevailed 6-11, 11-9, 8-11, 11-7 and 11-9, and Pooka Prakash Babu earned the third point.

Alpine skiing

The Williston boys (131) and girls (149) teams each finished fourth in a Mt. Institute League race at Berkshire East on Tuesday.

The Wildcats’ Lily Shields placed 11th in 1:27.81 to lead the girls on the giant slalom. Gavin Kline placed 13th in 1:27.81 to lead the boys.
