There has been a lot in the paper lately about community opinion on statewide events that affect us — education funding, affordable housing and statewide mass transit (and the likelihood of its ignoring western Mass). All of these things cost our tax dollars, and we want to make sure they’re spent wisely.
Local residents had the opportunity on Monday to meet and chat informally with a number of our state representatives and senators: Jo Comerford, Natalie Blais, Daniel Carey, Mindy Domb, and Lindsay Sabadosa.
These representatives make it clear they want to hear from us by coming to these more social events. Let’s give them something to talk about!
